Hello everyone! Summer is almost here and the weather will be friendly and nice again. We'll be able to go to the beach, go camping, visit the grandparents and do more outdoor activities. Yahoo!!!! So, it's time to warm up our minds thinking how it would be. Today's class will deal with what we would like to do this Spring or what we enjoy doing during this great season. The Sun will shine over our heads, and the breeze will caress our faces while walking. I bet life will be more easy-going and our mood will cheer up.
Today, we'll be practicing the use of gerunds and infinitives in English. We'll learn how the intention of the speaker changes by using one or the others. Gerunds are made from verbs and are mainly used as nouns and subjects in a sentence. Infinitives are the basic form of verbs, so they express actions. Let's start with the following introductory video to better understand how they are used in real contexts.
